Parents, grandparents, and loving guardians, a Pre-K education is greatly enhanced by your involvement. Like many schools we will be sending a weekly newsletter via email and the same will be available for pick up in the classroom. See sample linked to button below.
Newsletters, however, are one-way communication. Our goal is two way communication. We want to hear from you. We want to know if what students are learning in the classroom can be seen at home. We will be sending occasional questions for you to answer, if you like. Very simple questions and suggestions, such as:

Dreaming Tree Blog: is a place were teachers write about whatever they think might interest parents. A teacher might tell an interesting story about what happened on a field trip. Or descirbe how one child overcame a learning obsticle she or he had been facing. Or a teacher might describe a magical moment during music appreciation.
NEW this year is that parents will be able to add to the Dreaming Tree blog. You can share stories similar to the above or what ever you think might interesert our learning community. Please submit blog post via text or email.

Ideas and activities for children to do at home
that will help their learning at school.
This workshop will be given on-line.
You can log-in with a phone or a computer.
You will be able to ask questions and "pick up", (meaning download),
learning materials. This workshop will be given once a month and will be following our "Motion" curriculum.
What are our Pre-K goals for your child?
A short workshop reviewing our learning goals/Standards for Pre-K.
Parents as Guest Teachers
Any aspiring teachers out there?
We will teach you a simple lesson
plan and then have you present it to the class.
Only two slots available for the Fall. Sign-up soon.
Parent teacher meetings will take place three times a year where you will receive a formal evaluation of your child's progress at school. However, the lead teacher will be available for questions at pick-up time. Parent and guardian verification is done by the assistant teacher. This leaves the lead teacher available to answer questions and hear suggestions.
We, also, have cards you can fill out in the lobby and hand into the office or stick to the bulletin board in the comment section. The phone number and email address above can be used to text/email your suggestions and ask questions.
